Diamonds Staff
The club is managed by Gayna Jones and five qualified play workers. Staff members have many years experience working and looking after children and are encouraged to attend relevant training courses.
Each reception child in a group setting must be assigned a key person. A key person has special responsibilities for working with a small number of children, giving them reassurance to feel safe and cared for and building relationships with the parents of the children in their group.
Planning
All plans follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and are differentiated for all ages of children that use the club.
All activities are intended to be fun, interesting and enjoyable for all the children. We aim for all children to be confident with their own judgement and decisions and to be happy and enjoy their time with us. All children have the opportunity to develop many skills and a wide range of activities are on offer.

Collection of Your Children
Please introduce yourself to the club’s manager and staff so that we are aware of the parents and guardians responsible for collecting each child. You must let us know if there is a change in routine and you have arranged for someone different to collect your child/children.
Please be aware that if a child is left for an unacceptable amount of time and we are unable to contact you, or one of your nominated contacts, then our policy is to contact the police and social services.
If you anticipate being late you must contact Diamonds in order for us to reassure your child.
Grievance Procedure
We hope you will have no need to use the grievance procedure, however, if you do please speak to the manager in the first instance. After discussion with parents if the matter is not resolved it will then be referred to Mrs Hall, Head Teacher.
Parents can also contact Ofsted with any complements, concerns and complaints. A leaflet is also available from the Ofsted website at www.ofsted.gov.uk. Parents are encouraged to approach the manager at any time with any problems, questions, worries or general comments.
